In connection with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Uzbekistan, a video has been released documenting the head of state’s participation in events in the cities of Tashkent and Bukhara, Report informs.

The video, produced by the Presidential Press Service, captures President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva’s visit to the Independence Monument in Tashkent, as well as their flower-laying ceremony at the bas-relief of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Heydar Aliyev Square.

The footage also shows the official welcoming ceremony for the President of Azerbaijan at the Kuksaroy State Residence in Tashkent, his one-on-one meeting with his Uzbek counterpart, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and his online participation in the opening and groundbreaking ceremonies for joint projects.

The video also features the signing and exchange of documents between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The video also features Ilham Aliyev’s introduction to Uzbekistan’s largest urban development project “New Tashkent.”

The video also features the 3rd meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the presidential award ceremony, press statements by Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the opening of the Nizami Ganjavi National Pedagogical University.

The video continues with footage of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva’s trip from Tashkent to Bukhara.

In Bukhara, they toured the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, the Ark Fortress, and the Poi-Kalyan complex.

The footage concludes with the end of President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Uzbekistan.
