President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, commenting on the draft law “On Strengthening National Unity and Social Integration,” said: “I hope that this step, aimed at permanently ridding Türkiye of the terrorist threat, strengthening our national unity and solidarity, and further consolidating the atmosphere of peace in our country and the region, will yield positive results.”

In a post on social media, Erdoğan stated:

“The draft law ‘On Strengthening National Unity and Social Integration,’ prepared following comprehensive consultations, was presented to Parliament today with broad consensus, reflecting the determination of our esteemed people to find a solution. I hope that this step, aimed at permanently ridding Türkiye of the terrorist threat, strengthening our national unity and solidarity, and further consolidating the atmosphere of peace in our country and the region, will yield positive results.”

The President expressed his gratitude to the political parties and lawmakers who contributed both to refining the draft law and to the successful completion of this process, particularly his partner in the “People’s Alliance,” Devlet Bahçeli, Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party.
