Azerbaijan’s Greco-Roman wrestling team finished second in the team standings at the U-17 World Championship, collecting 107 points.

According to Report, the Russian team won the tournament, which was held in Baku, finishing first with 127 points, while Iran took third place with 96 points.

Azerbaijani wrestlers finished the tournament with a total of 6 medals. Ali Javadli (45 kg), Abdurrahman Huseynli (51 kg), and Isfahan Hasanov (80 kg) won silver medals, while Omer Salmanov (48 kg), Elmir Cherkezov (60 kg), and Orkhan Habibli (65 kg) earned bronze medals.
