US President Donald Trump said that he is not considering the possibility of ending the military operation against Iran after Tehran’s strikes on American military facilities in the Middle East. He made the statement while speaking with journalists at the White House.

The American leader indicated that Iran’s current actions would not affect Washington’s policy. According to him, the option of withdrawing US forces in response to such attacks is not on the agenda.

Trump also emphasized that the United States intends to continue responding to such actions. He noted that he considers retaliatory strikes a necessary measure in the event of new attacks by Iran.

Earlier, it was reported that US allies are refusing to participate in joint patrols of the Strait of Hormuz.
