Traffic will be partially or fully restricted on several streets and roads in Baku from August 1 to 3 due to road repair works.
According to Report, the information was provided by the Azerbaijan State Agency of Automobile Roads.
According to the agency, from 6:00 a.m. on August 1 until 6:00 a.m. on August 3, traffic will be completely closed on the service road of the outer ring road in the direction of Shamakhi, on the section between Farman Salmanov Street and Asad Ahmadov Street.
In addition, from August 1 to 3, traffic will be fully suspended on Sheikh Shamil Street, from Hasan Seyidbeyli Street to Istiglaliyyat Street, as well as on Lermontov Street, from Bunyad Sardarov Street to Sheikh Shamil Street.
Some restrictions have already come into effect. From 8:00 p.m. on July 31, traffic has been partially restricted on Mikayil Mushfig Street, from Matbuat Avenue to Parliament Avenue, and on Shykhali Gurbanov Street, from Fizuli Street to Salatin Asgarova Street. These restrictions will remain in force until 6:00 a.m. on August 3.
The agency advised drivers to plan their routes in advance, use alternative roads whenever possible, and strictly follow the temporary traffic signs installed in the roadwork areas.
