Gen. Turki al-Maliki announced the interception of a Houthi ballistic missile targeting Riyadh. Witnesses reported hearing four explosions in Riyadh following the alerts.<\/p>\n<p>Saudi Arabia has faced a series of missile and drone attacks amid escalating hostilities with Yemen\u2019s Houthi group.<\/p>\n<p>Saudi Arabia has led a military coalition supporting Yemen&#8217;s internationally recognized government since 2015 against the Houthis, who have controlled Sanaa and several other provinces since 2014.
