Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Oleg Belozyorov, General Director and Chairman of the Management Board of Russian Railways. The Prime Minister\u2019s Office said in a press release that Pashinyan emphasized that, given the opportunities for unblocking regional transport infrastructure, the Armenian Government aims to make Armenia\u2019s railways competitive and integrate them with the railway networks of neighboring countries and the international railway network.In this regard, the sides discussed the opportunities emerging in the context of regional developments and steps aimed at making Armenia\u2019s railways competitive and integrating them into international transport routes.<\/p>\n
They exchanged views on railway reconstruction projects along the Gyumri\u2013Akhurik\u2013T\u00fcrkiye border and Yeraskh\u2013Nakhchivan sections, as well as the opportunities these projects would create. They also addressed the work carried out to develop infrastructure under the concession management of South Caucasus Railway, the effectiveness of its management, existing problems, and possible solutions.
