Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defence published a post on its X account featuring footage from the “Power of Unity-2026” military exercises underway in Azerbaijan.
As Report reports, the post notes that the air forces of the two countries conducted joint manoeuvres.
“During the ‘Power of Unity-2026’ exercises, our Air Force, together with the Azerbaijani Air Force, destroyed designated ground targets. The joint power of our ‘steel wings’ is the most concrete indicator of our friendship and brotherhood!” the statement said.
It should be noted that military personnel from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye are taking part in the “Power of Unity-2026” military exercises.
The three-stage manoeuvres are being held at the Azerbaijani Army’s Gizilqaya Training Centre in the Karabakh Economic Region, at the Garabaghlar Training Centre located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and at the Boyuk Zira training area in Azerbaijan’s waters of the Caspian Sea.
