{"id":4923,"date":"2026-08-22T16:56:51","date_gmt":"2026-08-22T16:56:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mpc.ge\/?p=4923"},"modified":"2026-08-22T16:56:51","modified_gmt":"2026-08-22T16:56:51","slug":"pashinyan-tours-varchafest-2026-venue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mpc.ge\/en\/pashinyan-tours-varchafest-2026-venue\/","title":{"rendered":"Pashinyan tours Varchafest 2026 venue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has toured the various stalls and booths set up as part of the Varchafest 2026 youth summer music festival on the shores of Lake Sevan.<\/p>\n<p>He was accompanied by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan.<\/p>\n<p>Pashinyan shared a video of the visit on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the Varchafest 2026 music competition-festival, being held at Sevan Festival City on the shores of Lake Sevan, attendees can enjoy a diverse program.<\/p>\n<p>The festival aims to discover and support young bands, promote live music and establish an annual cultural tradition that will energize Armenia\u2019s music scene.<\/p>\n<p>The name \u201cVarchafest\u201d combines the Armenian word \u201cvarchapet,\u201d meaning \u201cprime minister,\u201d with \u201cfest.\u201d The name is also a nod to Varchaband, the prime minister\u2019s music band, in which Pashinyan plays the drums.<\/p>\n<p>The festival\u2019s official website lists Varchaband among the performers scheduled to take the stage on August 22.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has toured the various stalls and booths set up as part of the Varchafest 2026 youth summer music festival on the shores of Lake Sevan.
