A 47-year-old man was injured in a landmine explosion in the village of Hasanli in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil District.<\/p>\n
According to Report, the information was released in a joint statement by the press services of Azerbaijan\u2019s Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General\u2019s Office, and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).<\/p>\n
The statement said that Elshan Bakhlul oglu Shamilov (born in 1979), a resident of the village of Gumlag in the Jabrayil District, was injured when the tractor he was using to plow land struck a landmine in an area that had not yet been cleared of explosive ordnance.<\/p>\n
The district prosecutor\u2019s office has launched an investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General\u2019s Office once again urged citizens to follow mine safety regulations, pay close attention to mine warning signs, avoid touching suspicious objects, and refrain from entering unfamiliar or potentially hazardous areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
